Run locally by a charity organisation, the Appleby Hub is a community centre in the heart of Appleby. The centre is a fantastic venture and is available for all interests, ages, and abilities with the main focus on creativity and individual wellbeing. It is the funkiest converted church in town with a plethora of activities and classes for everyone to partake in. Inside, the church features a climbing wall that holds open climbing sessions for everyone in the family. Every month the hub also holds a Hubcraft fair, with free entry. Arguably the best part about the place is the Hub cafe presenting hearty, wholesome artisan food based around local produce.
