Jon Bon Jovi acquired the mansion in 2020 from the estate of the Tsai family who had owned it since its initial construction in 2007. The Tsais had originally commissioned it as a showcase of Palm Beach architecture with their own tastes as curators throughout the process. Despite Gerald Tsai’s passing just a year later in 2008, it remained in the family until the sale that commentators suggest was around the $43 million mark. Bon Jovi was keen to respect the lineage and meticulous detail involved in the original design, making limited refinements to the interiors with a sympathetic touch.
